VP of Human Resources

Erin Emery is the Vice President of Human Resources responsible for the HR, Recruiting, Facility Security, and Training teams at Castellum. She has more than 25 years of exemplary client service and full life cycle human resources experience in support of the defense consulting industry. As a member of the leadership team, she provides a strategic and integrated approach in human resources leadership, talent acquisition and operational security. In addition to her role in corporate HR, Ms. Emery also spends a significant amount of time volunteering with our local veteran community. As the daughter of a veteran, she naturally fell into a role where she was able to share her talents assisting veterans with their career needs by providing career counseling, job placement, and resume writing.

Ms. Emery holds an MBA from Purdue University and a BA in Psychology from St. Mary’s College of Maryland. Ms. Emery is also a licensed Realtor in the state of Maryland. Originally from Massachusetts, she has called Southern Maryland home for over 25 years. She is the proud mother of two young men. Ms. Emery is the Vice President & Co-Founder of The AVA Group (A Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Non-Profit) and sits on the Board of Directors for The ACE Foundation and the Human Resources Association of Southern Maryland.
