VP of Technical Solutions

Eric Troup serves as Vice President of Technical Solutions for Castellum, where he provides technical leadership across customer solutions, business development, digital modernization, cloud strategy, and internal technology initiatives. He works closely with customers, business leaders, and engineering teams to translate complex mission and technical requirements into secure, scalable, and practical solutions.

Eric brings more than 20 years of technology and engineering leadership experience spanning the federal government and commercial technology sectors. Prior to joining Castellum, he held senior engineering and technology leadership roles at Atlassian, Salesforce, Starbucks, Glue Up, SAP Concur, and Northrop Grumman. His experience includes site reliability engineering, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, software development, systems architecture, cybersecurity and compliance, automation, and large-scale production operations. He has led globally distributed engineering teams and supported highly available technology environments across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud.

Throughout his career, Eric has focused on improving the reliability, scalability, security, and efficiency of complex technology platforms. His experience includes helping establish Atlassian’s first FedRAMP Moderate authorized product, leading major cloud and infrastructure modernization initiatives, supporting post-acquisition technology integrations, and delivering technology solutions for federal customers.

Eric holds a Master of Science in Information Technology from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Auburn University. He is also an AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified SAFe Agilist, and Certified ScrumMaster.
